As much time,as I have spent in the Soo, I have never seen the local there. I have seen it in the Kinross area several times.My guess is it originates in Soo, Ont. I have seen the bridges in railroad position numerous times in the daytime on the USACE webcam.
U.S. customs agents visually inspect the eb train on the fly in the "yard". Just south of the bridge is a scanner(heat sensing, I'm told)that the trains pass thru. The eb train normally does not stop in Soo, Mi unless marine traffic is present.
