Gladstone: No Soo train seen. Two units at diesel house, obscured by cars. 5453 at west end.
One car at Ferrelgas.
Escanaba: ELS working along CR426 north of U.S.-2 near the mill. Always plenty of cars in this area, mostly covered hoppers, today a few ELS ore jennies in the mix. After noon they took a dozen or so covered hoppers over to their ex-P&H shop. ELKS may be re-positioning cars since MDOT is starting to tear down and rebuild thre U.S.-2 bridge ovef the Escanaba river and the nearby ELS bridge over U.S.-2. Also around often are new or new-looking orange IHB covered hoppers with bottom side discharge gates. Similar new-looking cars are bright yellow with RISK reporting marks.Maybe ELS is rebuilding these cars.
