Correction! The shot above looking south on M-117 toward US-2. The ice cream parlor is Chet's and Pat's and it located at the northwest corner of M-117 and Melville Street. The Mobil (later Sunoco) Gas station is right behind the ice cream parlor on M-117 and that gas station is where the westbound Indian Trails stop at 1:53am each morning while enroute from St. Ignace, MI to Duluth, MN and the eastbound Indian Trails bus stops at 6:06am every morning while en route from Duluth, MN to St. Ignace. Both busses operating via Newberry and the Soo. CN operating crews on that train above are base out of Gladstone and operates between Gladstone and the Soo.
