Trains Magazine Newswire today is reporting that the new Mineral Range Railroad has officially become a reality. The former 12 miles of LS&I railroad plus an additional 1.9 miles of abandoned line that has been rebuilt will assure that the newly built Humbolt Mill will have a viable rail access for shipping. This will end the 25 mile haulage via trucks to Champion that has been the main mode of shipping to this point. More info on Trains Magazine Newswire (if subscriber)
