They are not a big rail customer. Boxcars are loaded under a "lean-to" shed so they are not visible until they are pulled out ready to be sent on their way. Inbound waste paper cars are moved way to the back (south) and can be difficult to see. The mill uses a remote-controlled 45-tonner with side rods that is interesting to watch but rarely seen.
There used to be two trains each way thru Manistique, a daily thru freight and a weekday local. Not sure if that is still true.
