Drove North on Tuesday with our first stop being Mac City. Then proceeded North over the mighty mac bridge, paid the $10 truck toll and then headed up to the Soo. Let me tell you, those folks are definitely going to see a white Christmas. Left the Soo at 2pm. for what was suppose to be a 1hr. and 20min. drive on over to Newberry. Turned into an almost 2hr. drive because of a blinding snow-storm. Yikes ! Through all of this the only RR related sightings were a long string of logging flat cars sitting in a siding in Trout Lake. Of course this was viewed through blinding snow and the cover of dark. Was so glad to get back and over the bridge where driving conditions improved 100%.
