I remember them pumping down the Centennial but didn't recall they ever resumed mining underground. But my memory isn't what it used to be - CRS disease is starting
. (My B-I-L went to Tech 74-77 so I was still paying a little attention to what was happening in the Copper country) The water filled shafts were the scary part about "exploring" the mine sites. I remember all the old mine cars stacked like cordwood south of Lake Lnden at one of the processing plants. It was depressing to watch all the minig stuff disappear
