I was in the UP the last 3 days and yesterday on the way home I caught CN engine 5781 with 3 pulpwood cars and 2 tankers at the Kinross exit. The train was just setting there but pretty soon a SUV pulled up and two guys jumped out and went to the engine. They fired it up and undone the brakes on the engine and a couple of the cars. They then back onto the main and headed west. There was a guy working on the signals and he told me the earlier crew had picked up the tankers at the air base and this crew was headed for Gladstone. First moving train I have seen in the UP in quite some time.
