I think the power they were tied onto was for L551 to Gladstone. I also think they had an issue with the engine in M&M land so the 1200 went north on the CN and got dropped off in Menominee.
The E&LS came back yesterday with the big power. Caught them at Military Avenue doing their brake test before heading north on the CN. They departed with 76 empties, the hind 48 were all covered hoppers, mainly with MWCX reporting marks. The other cars were an empty CSXT insulated box car for Oconto Falls, a few empty ELS box cars and the rest pulpwood rack flats.
