Those asphalt tanks (or whatever, they had a "HOT 3257" placard which s/b asphalt) looked exactly (same reporting marks) like the tanks that went north Monday. This is what I had posted Monday on the ELS group:
"Northbound they had 71 empties, about half pulpwood empties. They also had 6 empty asphalt tank cars that looked fairly new (storage?), 21
empty covered hoppers on the rear, a CSXT for OF and some other odds and ends that were maybe for work or storage."
The only caveat is that I did not see the springs on the cars today. They could have been loads but I would be surprised if that was the case.
