I still have an air gauge and one of the giant light bulbs from the old coal unloader. Mick, your old man would have shit if we would have got that thing back to your garage. As for cabooses, I think they are cool and I'd give my left nut for one. That said, I never realized how dangerous they were. I've talked to several old time conductors who broke arms and legs (or worse)in them due to slack action. If you were not extremely careful, they were dangerous to ride in. That's why we have those pain in the ass rear end devices.
