Wisconsin rehabbed the line after the E&LS took over the line. It's been almost 20 years. Before that it was a typical undermaintained C&NW branch line, no ties, ballast or surface. At least the rail was 90lb. After rehab it was good for 20mph,but not now, mostly 10mph.
The flats came out of Crivitz off the rip track where they were repaired for service. Some are going to Canada and some went over seas to Africa.
