U-1 dots on E&LS 52-- pulpwood rack cars-question for Greg

Dear Greg,

This has to be one of the stranger questions you have gotten. I noticed that your photo of E&LS #5209 show not U-1 dot, while Andre Wehrle's photo of #5205 has a yellow dot. Here is his photo:

It is the faded yellow dot in the black circle, in the bottom of the right ladder.

Which of the rack-equipped cars have the dots and which ones do not?

PS I realize this is a strange question, and may take a while to answer. I will be modeling #5105 (the ex-NAFX car), and took sufficient photos when I found it in Rockland, so I will be occupied for a while.
