Last weekend I attended the Lake Superior Railroad Museum's 2009 Railfan Weekend in Duluth, MN. The highlight for those attending was the sight and sound of DSS&A RS1 #101 operating on the North Shore Scenic Railroad between Duluth and Two Harbors. This image of the #101 and its mixed train taken on September 12, 2009 could have been shot anywhere from St. Ignace to Duluth.
