Dear Jim,
I know I am not Greg, but I believe that they are in the P&H building in Escanaba, not the Wells facilities. This is according to a former E&LS mechanic, who did not realize their significance, and was not a huge fan of Baldwins. He said they rejoiced every time another non-#300 RS-12 was retired, as they were a maintenance headache. He was going to get pictures for me the next time he comes back to the Midwest to visit friends, including some at the E&LS.

PS It might be of interest to you that the Sharks were looking to be in pretty bad shape by the end of their outdoor storage. Here are the two most recent pictures I know of:

PPS Since previous postings on this board by you that I dug up on the Web Archive indicate you model in HO, I will offer some comments on the Bachmann D&H RF-16's. They are overall decent models with separately applied railings, great grilles, and other good stuff. On the downside, the "Delaware & Hudson lettering on the side is too big and the font is too thick, and the truck detail is good unless parked next to my Proto 2000 Alco FA-2 and FB-2. In comparison, the Bachmann trucks are awful. The Bachmann units lack the ladder up the engineers's (right) side of the nose that all NYC units had as well as the two grabs on the left side. The chances of me ever bothering to fix these shortcoming are rather slim.
