Dear Greg,
For conversion to HO scale E&LS cars, which of the three British Columbia cars below would be the closest:

I would prefer the ones with racks, as I believe I saw some of these trailing the #501 last year, headed north someplace north of Green Bay. Recommendations on closest one to model the rack-less flats would also be of great interest. As much as I like the 50xx series cars, I do not know of anything available in any scale other than 1:1 that looks even slightly similar.

PS Jeff Smith provided great photos of loaded E&LS flats on this board, so I do not need any additional photos of loads. However, a roster shot of a 52xx rack car would help a lot to further my efforts in building scale versions of E&LS equipment. So far, I have models of engines #1201, #1205 (never ran under own power on E&LS), and #1216 (ran briefly until November 9, 1982, as well as boxcars 9026 and 9033. Pulpwood equipment is the next logical step. Thanks again.
