These are pictures of the Milwaukee Road depot in Marinette, Wisconsin as it currently looks. After the ELS agent in Marinette retired, he was replaced with a fax machine in the Menominee enginehouse. The depot stood vacant for several years and the railroad sold the land under it to Walgreens. It faced demolition until the Mayor of Marinette, a history buff, convinced the citizens of Marinette to buy it and move it to its' present location south of its' original location. The exterior is in its' original configuration, but the interior walls were removed and the inside opened up. It is currently for rent.
