The crew from Gladstone stops at Trout Lake and rests. From Trout Lake to the Sault and return is operated as a "turn." They used to go on duty in the early afternoon and return to Trout Lake by midnight. Then the rested crew waiting at Trout Lake would take the train back west to Gladstone. At least that's how it was a couple of years back.
