Thanks for relating the history of the No.6 and the paper mill. A few years ago I purchased a negative of the No.6 and wondered about its heritage. The sleeve of the negative labled the locomotive as Ontonagon Pulp and Paper Co. and gave the date as 1955 with a question mark. Also on the sleeve was BLW(Baldwin Locomotive Works) 5/16(year built) and ex-Nahma Northern R.R. #6. It would be interesting to know how and when this 2-6-2 went from Nahma to Ashland and Ontonagon.
