It's alright, the cab was updated when it was rebuilt. New AAR control stand, 26L brakes, carpeted floor, new seats. When it was Michigan Northern #215 it was a wreck. Worn out box seats,wooden slat floor, antique control stand. It was definitely not ergo-engineered for easy use. It was designed to run long hood forward with the brake stand directly in front of you. When running it backwards, you had to reach behind you to set the air. The doors and windows are still too small, a fat engineer has a hard time getting thru the doors.
They are good for switching, fast acceleration. But like all Baldwins, they tend to shake themselves to pieces on the road. Most railroads ended up keeping them close to the roundhouse in yard service; easier to repair when it breaks down.
