Since Cliffs Natural Resources products are iron ore and metallurgical grade coal, their business is concentrated with steel mills. There is a news story about the state of all the mines that I have linked below and that should give you a good handle on current conditions. With the layoffs and production halts, it would seem like cash reserves will be more important than ore and coal reserves for a while.
