In June, 1979, my wife and I took the regular passenger train all the way to Hearst, spent the night, and returned the next day. We met one of the canyon trains at the canyon both times. We also had to wait for a CP train at Franz and a CN train at Oba. I took a photo of the switcher making up our train in Sault Ste. Marie, and a photo of the morning canyon train leaving town . . . .
