The DSS&A Division of the SLHTS operated excursions out of Marquette to Baraga and Newberry in 1992 and 1994. In 1995, we operated excurions out of Marengo, WI to Thomaston, MI and to Park Falls and Ashland, WI the next day. In, 1999 we operated Soo 1003 out of Gladstone to Hermansville and Trout Lake. All of these were great trips to work on and I met some very nice people. I think most everyone enjoyed the train rides becuase I saw many happy faces. The group also operated trains out of Gladstone in 2001 powered by Soo FP7 2500 and an LTV F9, but I was not able to work on those trains.
