Andy,
We rode the 1994 SLHTS excursion west from Marquette to Baraga or L'Anse, don't recall which, Next day I took some photos of the eastbound excursion departing Marquette to ???. This was my first exposure to Western UP railroading.
Bought the SOO onboard and was so impressed by the magazine joined the society.
Wish I would of taken more photos, better angles too. 
Heres some shots of the train leaving Marquette. All this is now gone if I understand correctly.
