Mike and others: Go north on I-75 north of St. Ignace about 12 miles. It is the next exit north of the Trout Lake exit. I don't remember the state highway number, but it follows the north shore of Lake Huron. Go about 20 miles east through Hessel, and then through Cedarville. About 2 miles east of Cedarville, the railroad passes over the road. Take a right turn into the parking lot just before the overpass. The track ends here.
On the north side of the state highway, there is another entrance to the mine area but this is marked no trespassing.
