NYCJim - I believe L539 operates to L'Anse each time and to Baraga as necessary. My guess is it departs after sunrise (8-10am) and switches a couple team tracks in the yard (flour and logs), Mineral Range at Winthrop Junction (dry and liquid explosives, and scrap), and multiple log yards to Baraga. In L'Anse they deliver ??? in covered hoppers to the ceiling tile plant (CeloTex?).
Chris or someone can confirm the accuracy of the above info. I thought L539 was an out one day back the next but again, Chris or someone else can confirm.
