According toWikipedia The 60 where rebuilt because of the problems of the 50 like Don said. Since they are leased with option to buy they wont be painted. There's a small chance if the SD60's work out and LS&I buys them the might stand a chance to get some paint, but they wont sport the LS&I logo as boldy as before, since Cliffs has taken over all new hats, shirts, hardhats, and I would guess locos, they have to have the CCI logo all over them and the LS&I logos have been small.... oh well. As for EMD vs GE once agian CCI's doings, whatever they can get for cheap will work, it's not the same railroad it was 20 years ago when they bought the last round of locos...
