That CSX train arrived in PH within the last 45 minutes or so. They'll spend some time dropping cars in the yard next to CN's yard, then probably take the power south. It'll be interesting to see where they leave these cars though- there are an awful lot of cars already sitting on the north end of the line, between the yard and the C&O track that used to go down to the river (although the cars on the C&O track could be the outbound cars for the return to Flint). Last weekend (or maybe it was the weekend before- it's hard to remember exactly when it was) the road power, the 4 two bay CSX covered hoppers and the 3 bay Family Lines covered hopper that are frequently seen on the trains between here and Flint, as well as a dozen or more tank cars, were all noted as being tied down on the passing siding in Marysville (the south end of the siding is maybe a couple hundred feet north of the Michigan Ave crossing). The road engines disappeared after a couple days, but as of this morning the cars were still there. I don't think they've made a habit of leaving cars on that siding for an extended period of time in the past. I might've observed the CSX power for today's train tying onto the train coming from Flint earlier this afternoon. It looked like they had 2 or 3 dark blue CSX 50' boxcars on the head and of the train, but I didn't get a good enough view of the train on the Port Huron end of their trip to verify how many boxcars there were. With luck, they'll tie down the head end of today's train on the mainline through Marysville, next to the cars that have been in the siding for the past several days now. Charles W.
