Wow, $7.6m for less than a mile of road on a ROW that's a least 90% already there.
The RR had a lot of problems in this area with sink holes when they built through here in 1861. They wound up building what was basically a corduroy road. At least they won't have that problem with the RR portion as it was stable later and well compacted by a hundred plus years of trains passing over it.
And the ROW is the north boundary to the mall so that’s a no brainer.
Back in the 50’s the asphalt company had a spur for receiving gravel which was gone by the mid 60’s.
