Re: CSX - Port Huron Tunnel Rights...
Yes, they do - basically, until 1996 CSX ran trains (R320/R321 and R322/323 to Detroit) through Canada to Buffalo, Detroit, and to Port Huron (Ferry service only to PoHo) and after 1996 there was a Haulage agreement with CN, then CP (2003-2006 or so), then back to CN in 2006. After 2006 all that remained was D718 Rougmere to Windsor/Walkerville with everything else taken across by CN. Trains 330/331 handled Buffalo traffic generally speaking all this time and other CN trains west out of Sarnia handled Toledo traffic.
330/331 have been on again, off again. In the last two months CN put these back, but the traffic gets to Buffalo regardless even if it takes multiple trains. 331 terminates in Port Robinson and 530/531/etc take the traffic across to CSX Frontier or the BPRR. CN interchanges with NS directly in Canada at Fort Erie.
At least that's how I see it.
