Will any consideration be given to reestablishing commuter rail service from Jackson or Ann Arbor to the Michigan Central Station that will become an emloyment center for Ford? The rails at the station are, I believe, owned by CP but much of the line west from the Michigan Central station is owned by the state of Michigan. The engines and rail cars needed for commuter rail are already in Michigan and available for use. At its peak, I think the Michigan Executive train carried an average of 400 passengers each way every week day from Jackson to Motown.
