CN doesn't have a problem with the current route. If it's a pay for mileage haul, they collect money on 52 miles. Longer than the Clemens route. The only problem they have, and that has been resolved for a few years now is CSX using junk power that had a history of breaking down en-route causing trains to back up. CSX has been good putting plenty of power on these trains of late. That being said, someone on this site mentioned not to long ago that there's some reason that I can't recall that CN will not put the CSX trains on the Clemens sub. Since CSX has also put the Sarnia trackage up for bids too, and it is an isolated operation now, (trains do not run all the way down the Chatham sub anymore), I'm sure CN will pick up the remainder of that operation.
