CSX - Port Huron...

Apparently another possibility being bandied about on some other boards is the idea of CSX retaining their somewhat lucrative Port Huron/Sarnia island by abandoning their CN Flint- PH trackage rights agreement, and negotiating new trackage/and or haulage rights between Detroit (Rougemere) and Port Huron via a shorter, faster and straighter CN MTC sub. That gets them off the Flint sub mainline, something I'm told CN was never truly excited about. Nobody would lose in such an agreement - except those, of course, who enjoyed watching a CSX train run on the CN...
