CSX keeps running into Plymouth and around to Detroit. But do they really need to keep operating over both the Lincoln Secondary(Conrail) and Detroit Subs?
I see LSRC running Plymouth to Flint. But I wouldn't really call that winning. Maybe if there were some GOOD online customers it would be different.
I believe CSX will keep running into Grand Rapids. I think they have enough business along the line and interchange at GR to make a go of it.
The real question for me is Plymouth-GR.
I don't see the line remaining intact. What will determine the fate of the Plymouth Sub is where the GOOD customers are. Then someone will serve them from GR, Lansing or Plymouth. But there is no real use for that E-W line across Michigan.
