Well, your "dumpy old point-and-shoot camera" does pretty darn good! Thanks, Brian, for posting these. Further to your photos over at Railroadfan, that signal at Frahzo Road serves as an intermediate for NB trains and as the approach signal for Nolan going south. Same for the signal cantilever at Outer Drive - approach to Nolan headed north. The southbound heads are turned away as I don't believe CTC is in effect yet between Nolan and Milwaukee Jct. The SB intermediate signal at MP 19 is now functioning, and for NB trains will serve as the approach signal to "South Mount" controlled siding.
If you happen to find yourself in the Mount Clemens area, there is plenty to see as most signal work is now being concentrated in this area with the siding. Not sure if they will cutover Beck to North Mount when they are finished here (and they are getting close), or turn it all on at once when complete. At any rate, it's been fun to watch the CN "army" at work along the MTC sub.
