I find it funny that they are going to spend a bunch of money to put up crossing protection here. Typically there are several scrap gons on the siding, but I don't see it being a high volume crossing. However, the north side of the crossing is blind from both directions due to trees and shrubs, but usually the ground crew will pull the truck across the road with the lights activated to protect the shove across M-142. The speed limit is 40 mph. I would not want to flag that crossing.
