Well, one atta-boy to atrainguy60 for his persistence in keeping abreast of this changing scenario involving the #Q-321-322 trains. I know he first reported the time change of their perspective depart times a few weeks ago. So far, those have held up moderately well. A lot of early a.m. in the dark departures southbound for #321 has taken place. These trains for a long time were tantamount to an 11 a.m to 5 p.m. depart time out of Flint. And #322 was kind of hit and miss until the schedule change, and now holds pretty steady inbound between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Also, as to the auto racks all going to Stanley, that may explain the sudden appearance of them into and out of Flint for only 24 hours, before going back south. I'm still thinking that before EHH gets done butchering CSX, Lake State RR will end up with the Saginaw Sub to Plymouth. Please don't take this as a rumor, it's just my opinion based on a few things that has transpired this last 9 months. Lake State has just added some more motive power, the Kearsley connector track CSX uses for it's Port Huron trains, from CSX trackage to CN old main line has been upgraded to heavy welded rail around the big curve, even though there is no interchange along Longway Blvd anymore. I don't feel that this upgrade would have taken place if there isn't anything in the works because CN has no reason otherwise to keep this mile and a half section open. There are no CN customers on this stretch. Every one is saying that CSX will switch to the Mt Clemens sub to gain Port Huron access after Mt. Clemens upgrades are complete. Maybe Lake State will get the P.Huron trackage too. EHH doesn't have a good record of keeping trackage that doesn't run a gazillion trains a day. Time is going to tell. A lot is changing. One thing for sure, trains will still come into and out of Flint on the CSX, whether the name changes or not. Thank you atrainguy60 for your postings.
