Quite a few of the new MACs went south and we would chase them to Toledo - went to Conrail at Stanley, then west on the Chicago line. Don't know the reasoning behind it. Some would power Q141 down the Mt. Clemens and then up to Moterm -eventually heading back west to Durand/Chicago. The local GT crews who at the time were stuck with the inevitable GP38's liked running the new MACs...
