Yes, it's the M-28 bridge and the CN White Pine Sub (currently out of service) bridge over the Presque Isle River, northeast of Wakefield, Wakefield-Marensico School District, Wakefield Township, Gogebic County, in the western da UP. Looking south. M-64 jog with M-28 at Bergland, Lake Gogebic and Merriweather. Passenger train service on the former DSS&A RR between Duluth, MN and Marquette, MI through Wakefield, Merriweather, Lake Gogebic and Bergland was discontinued many years ago. A engineer and a conductor of the local freight train that ran between Mellen, WI and White Pine, MI were based out of the crew office shanty on the east side of Country Highway 513 north of the CN White Pine Sub in North Bessemer, MI west of Wakefield.
