RJB is correct! The segment of the former CN (later NYC) from just south of M-50 near Jackson to Cement City out of service in late 1971 and the segment between cement City and Bryan, OH abandoned in 1975. Abandoned entirely on Conrail Day, 1976. The T&E crews on the former Cincinnati Northern, was based out of Van Wert, Ohio and worked between Van Wert and Jackson. That shot above is 6.9 miles west of the Michigan International Speedway (MIS).
