Well NS would like to get rid of the Michigan Line and Lansing Sedondary since there is NO BUSINESS.
NS is in business to make money, not run trains for railfans. If this State had a better business climate there would be more business.
Look at GM Hydra-Matic in Willow Run. NO Tracks at all. There is nothing in Ypsilanti or Ann Arbor.
I would say look for the line west of Wayne to be leased to WATCo some time. Amtrak does not have any money so they can not buy it but that would be the best. Amtrak or State own the line, contract out freight operations to a shortline or NS.
NS operates "BO" tower since it on their line. Whoever leases or purchases the line will be responsible for it.
