More and more American companies are being acquired by foriegn owners. The foriegners feel less sympathetic about communities and are more concerned about maximizing the bottom line dollar. They're not overly concerned about neighborhoods and families. We could change the tide but I don't think we'll make financial sacrifices or vote in elections to turn the tide. Not yet at least. BTW - I'll argue both parties are/have screwed us.
