The road they block when switching is the CSXT access road right at the west end of the yard.
You seem to be confusing the transflo sign as a "welcome" sign. Unless you have 18 wheels, that sign doesn't apply to you. Its not a welcome sign, inviting you to wander around at your own liesure; its a sign to let the truckers know they are in the right spot and not going somewhere where they shouldn't be. If you are at the transflo sign, you have already passed CSX's no tresspassing sign, which is right where Raildude's Dad described.
At most yards there ARE big signs welcoming you to Wyoming Yard, or Barr Yard, etc, but don't be confused! Those signs are not inviting railfans onto the railroad property.
