Thanks Don. Champion at Dryden received quite a few carloads of plywood and molded plastic, as well as aluminum panels used in manufacturing mobile homes. I believe that this business peaked in the pre 1974 oil embargo era.
I believe that the Champion plant was an early casualty of companies looking for cheaper wages elsewhere.
