One reason they might be doing so well is that they consume the product that they make. they print ceral boxes, packaging for Jello, and Pop Tarts.
The 2 facilities that Im familar with is Kalamazoo and the Kendallville IN operations. the company I work for just got don yesterday installing 3 overhead cranes over 3 printing presses at Kendallville, this place has an appetite for paperboard. impressive !
White Pigeon Paper is the same way, they own a papermill and print in IN and Ill.
Michigan has lost alot of mills I will acknowledge that. the company I work for use to do alot of work at these places.
Will the new Kaiser Aluminum facility in Kzoo have rail service ? I could only imagine so, this place is going to have a HUGE appetite for aluminum.
PS if you need crane service Look me Up !
We have a saying in the crane business, We stand beside our work, Never under it !
