For several years I've been noticing small pieces of sme sort of shiny metal on the CN roadbed, and also the CMGN line out of Durand. They are rather shiny and upwards of an inch or so in size. My first guess was aluminum, but I really don't know. The material is not magnetic. Can anyone identify what this stuff is?
