Board Administrator
I have been receiving messages from a number of participants reporting that they cannot log in. I'm not sure why that happens but it apparently is a problem with Boardhost. You must also have your "cookies" turned on in your browser for the log in to work. Some of you are frustrated. But keep in mind that you don't need to be "logged in" to read the board, nor to post on it.
I've discovered that even though you might not be able to log in, you should still be able to Post a message. Click "Post A Message" and type your message. When you click "Post" to send it, it will ask you for your username and password. Enter these and your message should post.
If you still have problems, it is probably because your username or password are not correct, or are not in the proper case. If you have forgotton your username, password, or case (as in case sensitive), send me an email and I will check on it.

Registering users. I am currently entering newly requested passwords once a week, normally on weekends. I appreciate everyone's patience.

In a couple of cases, people have sent concerns and I have replied. Then I get the same concern again and I reply again. Apparently anti-spam software is preventing my replies from reaching you. I'm not sure what to do about that.

When you get confirmation of your username and password, please write them down. We have about 600 registered users and it is time consuming for me to deal with forgotten passwords. Thanks.

Improper postings. I don't get on the boards as often as I would like to remove improper posts. If you see something that is inappropriate, please email me at webmaster@michiganrailroads.com and I will remove it and remove the participant. Participants on these boards must remain appropriate at all times. I also have a rule prohibiting making libelous comments about anyone but particularly railroads and their employees. Thanks very much.
Thanks, Dale
