ok, everyone is fascinated by the asylum for different but obvious reasons. the mentality of most noho-ites, though so very "open-minded," lacks common sense. a "cleansing ritual" will do nothing more than give you a trump card to throw into every conversation you have on main street. newsflash - fixing "energy" and cleasing whatever you plan on cleansing does not landscape the grounds or assist the displaced ex-inmates wandering around this town. there has been more damage done by fake cult members sneaking into the place in the last few years than the care the patients received 75 years ago. yeah it is awful how the state ran the institution and the lack of care/resources for the mentally ill, but it was over before half the people who think they can fix mistakes with crystals, hemp and an acoustic guitar were born. i suggest the closet-pretention of this town start checking out society outside of northampton, i bet your ph.d the smith pagan society can't drive out the bad energy the crackheads living in abandoned buildings give off in holyoke with a "cleansing ritual." now THAT would be "moving" see you at the The Haymarket.
