Posted by Karen I just wanted to put some information in here. My name is Karen and my father was a chief engineer of the NSH. We lived there in the early 70's in the white house at the top of the hill. I remember walking through the tunnels and exploring the area extensively as a young child. Growing up with so many mentally ill people was quite the experience! I always wondered what happened to the hospital. It had some fantastic architect in the older parts of the main building. Such a shame to let some great farming land and buildings go to rot. Well, thats all I guess. Contact me if anyone has some questions that I might be able to help with. God bless.
