Hello,
I have a rather large (3-3 1/2 ft.) iguana that has become totally wild. It never did have a very good disposition and it has only grown meaner with age. I have had it for about 6 years. It escaped it's cage and now living in the rafters in our basement. It comes down every once in awhile to eat but will no longer eat the collard greens I had always fed it. It is eating dry cat food soaked in water. It actually knocks over the water dishes and food dishes I have down there for our cats and mixes the two together to eat! I tried to give the iguana away on FreeSpace but only had a minimum of takers and they all seemed to be kids looking for a cool pet. I would like to find a good place for this creature because I am afraid that it is going to die eating this diet that I know is no good for it. Do you have any suggestions for what I might be able to do?
Thank you for your time.
